Marilyn's life story is one marked by courage, creativity, and an unwavering sense of optimism, exemplifying a remarkable career at the crossroads of entrepreneurial drive and community service.

Known affectionately as "Sunshine" for her charisma, passion, and positive energy, Marilyn's journey took her from the realms of media and entertainment to a leadership role in construction and manufacturing. Starting as a radio DJ in her beloved hometown of Ponce, Puerto Rico, she eventually managed four radio stations before leaping Chicago. There, she became a programming director, bringing joyous music to the Latino community, fostering cultural connections, and boosting station listenership and ratings.

After nearly two decades in broadcast radio, Marilyn embraced her entrepreneurial spirit and embarked on a new chapter by founding Sunshine Integrated Solutions. This venture utilized her expertise in branded content, promotional campaigns, and artist management to help clients establish profound connections with Hispanic consumers across the United States. Following substantial success, Marilyn transitioned into the male-dominated construction industry, relocating to Fort Myers with her life and business partner, Steven Russel.

Together, they launched Creative Architectural Resin Products (CARP USA), a venture specializing in designing, manufacturing, and installing exquisite resin-based faux architectural trims and accents. These products, crafted from a high-density polymer resin material, emulate the look and texture of natural materials. CARP USA quickly became a dominant player in the architectural elements niche, exhibiting impressive growth and positioning itself for significant success.

Through their entrepreneurial venture, Marilyn and Steven deliver excellence in custom fabrications to some of Florida's largest construction firms, contributing to a positive economic impact in Southwest Florida.
